4 Schools, 250 Students, 3 Computer Teachers, Countless Smiles and Cheers! That’s the story of our Annual Computer Contest as we wrapped in Jan 2023. It’s heartening to see the transformation as most of our children see computers for the first time and then blossom into creating their first PPT’s. What started for us in 2011 as we set our first Computer Lab in Renuka High School has been a core pillar as we drive Digital literacy and our girls.

PPT’s are fun, they are easy and once the kids start enjoying, the world of computers and technology does not look difficult to them as they start setting their dreams and spread their wings! The contest does 3 things to our kids- Learn Computers, Speak in English, Instill Confidence to present to an audience. The Contest topics ranging from Digital India, Traffic Condition in Bangalore, My first travel in ‘Namma Metro’, Organic Farming, Power of Media, etc. provide them the opportunity to research, get creative on the PowerPoint tools and many a times they surprise us with things that we don’t know. Sometimes a little diffident, sometimes a tad confident and sometimes a sense of pride as they display their skills. And we love seeing their energy, their curiosity and their wonder as they rise and shine!
