On 26th September 2024, 𝐆𝐅𝐆𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦 marked a meaningful milestone with the inauguration of a brand-new computer lab, thanks to Sasken Technologies Limited’s CSR initiative. Sunil Dath and Shailendrasing Patil were warmly welcomed by the college’s Principal, Dr. Ravi Kumar Minajigi, along with placement coordinator, Ms. Kousalya S.

The excitement was shared by placement coordinators Dr. Latha T, Dr. Prathima M Bidarimath, and Dr. Srilatha M C, as they celebrated this important contribution to the college. Mr. Vincent Disouza, Ms. Shantikumari, and Dr. Prakash from the JVG team introduced the guests to students from BA, BBA, and BCom, who are already benefiting from the Integrated Skill Development Program launched in August 2024. The students expressed how the program has enriched their academic journey and prepared them with future-ready skills.

The highlight of the day was the 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐛, equipped with desktop systems generously donated by Sasken. This facility will be especially valuable for MCom students, who will use it to enhance their statistics and digital literacy skills.
