Celebrating and wishing everybody a wonderful day on the occasion of International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

“A ship in port is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for,” Grace Hopper. Women today have gone beyond and literally touched the sky. In India, the women at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) have played a key role in the country’s Moon, Mars and other space programs. We have travelled far.

However, we still have a massive problems especially at the lower social economic strata, given gender bias, social dogma and perceived norms. With our initiative Dreams Unlimited at #MyLittleBit Foundation, we have been relentless in encouraging girls to take science and show them the vistas of the future. With scholarships to help them pursue higher education, we now have our girls who pushed the boundaries and pursuing successful careers at TCS, CloudOnHire, BSharp, WorkXogo, Hinduja Global, Infosys, 247.ai and more.

Not just this #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience, let us make everyday a day of the girl who digs #science #technology #engineering and #mathematics. Here’s urging everybody to do your little bit in driving this mission ahead by being role models, as mentors or just by giving them the confidence that they can do it!
