Dreams Unlimited Initiative – Our journey towards skills ad employability for Underprivileged Girls. Here’s our second story from Soundarya Institute of Management & Sciences at Nagasandra, Bangalore.

A quick background on Soundarya College: Started in the year 2007, Soundarya College has taken a holistic approach, guiding both faculty and students to grow from strength to strength in both curricular and extra–curricular activities. The achievements of students are the testimony of the institutional contribution commitment for exceptional performance quality assurance in every endeavor.

We are immensely grateful to the college for fostering our partnership and taking dedicated sessions in Aptitude Skilling and Interview Readiness, enabling the students in BA, BCom, BSc, BCA to get jobs. Heartening to note that from 345 final year students, 110 students got placed and 192 students decided to pursue higher education, with the balance still pursuing placements to get jobs. The jobs range from IT organizations, Global IT Houses, Banks, Starts- ups and more. A big call out to IKEA for a significant hiring for their new outlet.

MyLittleBit Foundation along with JV Global Services LLP undertook a progressive Integrated Skill Development Program (ISDP) within the Academic Curriculum of the college for the students studying BCom and Placement for final year students..
