Scholarships for Girls Pursuing Higher Education
This Women’s Day, we celebrated something truly powerful — the courage of young girls who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.

Many girls studying in government schools come from extremely challenging economic backgrounds. At a very young age, they are often expected to contribute to the family income by working as housemaids or in nearby factories. Social pressures and financial struggles also lead many families to consider early marriages for their daughters.

But when you ask these girls about their dreams, you see something extraordinary — a spark in their eyes and a determination in their voices. They speak of becoming doctors, entrepreneurs, teachers, IPS officers, and professionals who can transform their own lives and their communities.
Often, these dreams need just a little bit of support to become reality.

At MyLittleBit, our mission is to encourage girls to pursue higher education and continue their academic journey, rather than being forced into early employment or societal expectations. In many families, limited resources are prioritized for boys, leaving girls with fewer opportunities. A scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also helps secure family commitment to support their daughters’ education.

This year, we had the privilege of awarding scholarships to 35 meritorious girls who are excelling in their undergraduate studies across diverse fields such as: Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Applications, Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, including Artificial Intelligence

We are especially proud to see the journey of some of our earlier scholars who are now pursuing Master’s degrees in Arts and Finance, while others have chosen impactful professions like Physiotherapy and Nursing, demonstrating their passion to serve society.

Each scholarship represents far more than financial support. It is an investment in courage, resilience, and the limitless potential of young women.
