Wishing everybody a very Happy Women’s Month! On behalf of MyLittleBit Foundation in partnership with Blue Prism India, here’s a story on bringing smiles & sunshine to the girls of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel PU College.

Sardar Vallabhabai Patel, on the outskirts of Bangalore, offers degree in Arts & Commerce with a strength of 200 students, 70% as girls, all from an underprivileged background. The girls are eager to complete their education and enter the workforce.

Thankyou Peter Gartenberg and all the contributions from Team Blue Prism which helped us set a new Computer Lab in the college which was a moment of exhilaration for the students.

We’ve awarded scholarships to 16 girls in the 2nd Year at the college for their continued education ( The students were selected basis merit and the family income ranged between Rs 13K to Rs 20K/ month). In fact, the faculty of the college is mostly alumni from here itself.

As a way to ensure we have the Computer Lab get functional immediately, on behalf of MyLittleBit Foundation, we’ve allocated a Computer Teacher to start teaching in the college starting March.
